First time wood working(tool recommendations)

I was just in Lowe’s and they had the Bosch router that Fred mentions with the plunge Base as a kit for $179, but today only. I notice that it is the same on Amazon (perhaps to match the Lowe’s price). If you look on Camelcamelcamel . com it looks like that is about the lowest price it goes for on Amazon. The Camel site also shows fairly rapid and somewhat extreme fluctuations on this.

Yep - if you click I=on my link above it shows up at $179 - about as low a price as I’ve seen

Alright folks. You are awesome. Thank you for the links and all suggestions. So very helpful!

Here’s my next question

What brand of scroll saw blades should I buy? I’ve been reading up on the different types, but am not sure on what brand to use.
I was able to score a brand new DeWalt for $350 on a local buy/sell/trade page. I just missed out on a Hawk for $75!!!

My favorite blades are from Pegas (Swiss made)

They also make coping saw blades

Well my DeWalt purchess fell through. I decided to go a different route and ordered online.

Wen scroll saw
Ryobi 3 tool combo kit (orbital, sheet, and finish sander)
Ridged trim/palm router with bonus sheet sander

Plus some router bits, sand paper, and extra scroll blades
