One of my go to places - I mentioned it above - but revised my post because I inadvertently said 35% off istead f 20%
BTW - Chads Toolbox is offering 10% off tomorrow - Black Friday - so it might be worth comparing. I think I like KCTool a bit better because they give you a heads up about what’s in stock or not.
Yes I too have noticed that Zoro’s “deals” are sometimes a bit strange - and some items seem t be drop shipped from others (sometimes their parent Grainger) other times from a manufacturer, But I have availed myself - especially when its 30% off - deals. Last year I bought my Leica D810 from them - and at 30% off their somewhat inflated price - it was still nearly $100 better than the best other price I could find. But I wanted to add a Leica FTA360 - and either they didn’t have it or their price was too high even with the discount so I went with Tiger Supplies. I just did a quick check - and the Leica Distos seem to be included in this 30% off deal.
Zoro also sells some pretty high-end machinery - where 30% off would be a fantastic and perhaps unheard of deal. I guess If had been able to get the Baileigh bender we bought some years ago for 30% off ( something akin to a $15k price cut ) my partners and I would have been very happy. But a batch of deals like that might have been impossible for Zoro to have fulfilled - hence the $2000 maximum that they impose. Maybe their margins are different on different brands or some of their suppliers/manufacturer’s wince at such price undercutting - hence some of the other restrictions. Not making excuses for them - just saying it is what it is - and I didn’t bite on their deal this year
