Hello all,
I’m thinking about getting a cordless track saw. I’m a hobbyist wood worker with limited skills. What’s the best cordless track saw for a limited budget?
Thanks!
What is your budget? Cord or cordless? Do you have an existing battery platform if cordless?
Ryobi and Skil have released track saws on the DIY end of the cost spectrum. I think Wen makes one as well.
A step up would be the saws from one of the major tool manufacturers. bosch, Milwaukee, makita, and Dewalt have something in the $35-$500 range.
Makita goes so far as to make a circular saw that rides on their rails giving you a two in one option which is budget friendly (in that it’s two for 1- a pseudo plunge saw and circular saws that side on their and festool rails).
From there you enter the Festool price range followed by Mafell and the rest of the $1,000 plus options.
