Does anyone know any details about the new DCS692 Concrete Saw and how it differs from the existing DCS690?
My understanding is that there are two differences:
- the lid for the battery compartment on the 692 is taller, which allows the use of 15ah batteries.
- the 692 has a wireless connection feature which can turn on a dust collector remotely.
I believe the rest of the tool to be otherwise identical, I’ve seen some promo material for this saw while I was looking for information about other tools and none of it mentioned anything about improved power or runtime compared to the previous model so I assume the motor and everything else inside the saw is the same as the 690.
If you don’t ned the wireless connection I would go with the first model
