Wanting to buy the Hitachi c10rj table saw, but heard bad reviews about the soft start… can I bypass the soft start?
considering it’s a decently built clone of the Dewalt with stand. It’s a touch heavy but again rolling stand.
I wonder just how many are failing - but it looks like the fix is relatively easy. I’d still consider it. I mean it’s over 100 dollars less. If you use it 4 months - it dies - and you put 15 into fixing it. you’d still be a head. It seems there are instructions to bypass the start module - and it seems others say they replaced the module (that you can buy on it’s own) and it’s worked fine since.
so maybe it’s just a bad batch of them.
