I was at my local Lowes and noticed what seemed to be unusually low prices on Hitachi branded power tools. Namely, the brushless hammer drill + brushless impact kit with 1 battery, charger, and bag was marked down to $129. The tool-only brushless 6-1/2" circ. “deep cut” saw and tool-only brushless recip saw were at $89 each. Do my eyes deceive me, or are these exceptionally low prices for these items?
I know the branding is slowly (maybe too slowly?) switching over to Metabo HPT, could this be a case of trying to liquidate those tools that are still carrying the old labeling? Or maybe I’m missing something.
