Huh… I find the Makita grips extremely comfortable, though I like DeWalt’s slightly better, I’ve found Bosch to be a bland but not uncomfortable grip… One of us have funny hands lol.
I took my Bosch 18v in with me today in addition to the 12v tools that I almost always have with me. I’m glad I did. I REALLY like the Makita but there’s something about that handle. It actually makes me slightly sad because it’s a really great drill. Right now I think it is something about the grip angle but I’m really not sure.
I noticed today that the battery on the Makita seems to last longer than my Bosch.
Something else I noticed is that both my Bosch and the Makita have the exact same RPM ranges but the Makita is harder to run very slow consistently. I think the trigger on the Makita is a little bit more sensitive than the Bosch.
