Both saws probably have a “protective mechanism” that triggers when it gets jammed so you don’t damage the saw, but it’s worrisome that the Dewalt triggered so easily. It’d be quite irritating on a demo job if the saw kept quitting like that.
Maybe that particular saw Bill had wasn’t representative.
