Unistrut price increases

I was just checking out the Unistrut website for fun (don’t judge me) and I noticed that they have announced three price increases since the start of May, each about 10%. So about 30% in three months! I thought the cause might be the tariffs on steel, but my understanding is they don’t apply to finished goods, and I believe Unistrut has a factory in China.

So what is going on? Any ideas? You can read the announcements on their website.

4 this year if you include the Feb increase. I guess increasing fuel costs may be impacting the shipping costs, so maybe they are reacting to both, but yeah, that’s a lot!
