Using my visa at Home Depot seems to work for the majority of what I buy there. Does anyone try to get warranty replacements with Amazon or other online purchases. Just curious
I bought a Porter Cable impact/drill combo from Amazon and smoked the drill about a year 1/2 later, called Lowes to see about warranty replacement and they had me bring in the whole kit for a swap out… New everything!
Don’t know if this is truly a warranty strategy, but here goes. I have many batteries for my cordless platform. I marked one with a dab of paint. I used that battery for everything, when just using a single cordless tool. After about 2 1/2 years and 1200 charging cycles it started losing performance. Took it to the service center and walked out with a new one. Thus saving a lot of my charging cycles across my other batteries. Side note: be sure to use all of your lithium batteries once in a while or their performance will degrade.
